The Chinese language supersedes others in originality and complexity. Yuanyang Honghe Rice Terraces – Yunnan Province
Yunnan is one of the most famous areas in the Southwest region of China, along with Tibet, Guizhou, and Sichuan. It offers a scenic gateway for tourists as it is equipped with towering mountains, lush forests, alpine lakes, and natural hiking tracks that are perfect for adrenaline seekers. The province's capital is popularly known as the City of Eternal Spring. Yunnan is a single province that offers a lot of ethnic diversity, for example, Miao, Dai, Hani, Naxi, and numerous other ethnic minorities.

The rice terraces in Yunnan have been labeled as the 45th world heritage site by UNESCO and are an engineering marvel. November and April is the best time to visit these terraces because they are filled with water and produce a breathtaking display of light reflecting on that water and providing a vivid display of colors.
Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) – Anhui Province
Huangshan is a truly majestic beauty that is steeped in picturesque natural landscapes and history. These mystical mountains are the most beautiful and most famous mountains in China, which is another UNESCO favorite heritage site. The mountain range has a total of 36 different peaks. The three tallest and best-known peaks are Lotus Peak, Bright Peak, and Celestial Peak. The climate of Anhui province is very favorable for growing tea which gives Huangshan it’s fame for the best-growing tea in the world. The mountain is also famous for providing four natural wonders: peculiarly shaped granite peaks, seas of clouds, hot springs, and pine trees.

Wulingyuan – Hunan Province
The Hunan province, located in the South-central of China, offers a scenic stone area that consists of spectacular sandstone pillars of Wulingyan and four national parks. These parks are known as Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Yangjiajie Scenic Area, and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve.
The precipitous pillars are located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and have been used as the setting for the movie ‘Avatar’. This is another UNESCO Heritage Site with more than 3,000 quartzite sandstone peaks reaching 200 meters in height. Animal lovers can find themselves to be lucky here to spot some of the many rare birds, mammals, and other endangered animals that only live in this area. The natural beauty found here is one of nature’s masterpieces by being home to numerous caves, rivers, lakes, ravines, natural bridges, gurgling springs, old trees, cloud and fog formations and surging waterfalls. They truly captivate the senses, sounds, and colors of nature itself.
