‘Kick the can’ is another interesting outdoor game to play this summer. You can play with as many people as possible, in fact, the more you are the merrier. Hopefully, there are enough hiding spots to accommodate everyone because, in this game, you’re going to have to hide. At the start of the game, every player assembles and someone is voted as ‘It’.

The person who is voted now has to kick the can signaling to the remaining players to hide. This selected person then counts up to a hundred with their eyes closed or in a separate place from the people hiding, and after the count gets to a hundred the player places the can back up and shouts that they are coming, then the search begins.

When kids play this game the person counting chants “Ready or not, here I come!” But as grown teens or adults, you can skip that chant, or just do it since it sounds fun and cliche.
