Famous Athletes and Their Top Sports Illustrated Shots

Bobby Clarke, 1973

Bobby Clarke is a Canadian professional hockey player who played center for the Philadephia Flyers, becoming the team’s Senior Vice President in 2006. Many see him as one of the best players and captains of all time, winning them the Stanley Cup twice and being a three-time Hart Trophy Cup winner himself.

He and his family reside in their long-term home in Ocean City, New Jersey, where the player does a lot of reading nowadays and enjoys the peaceful life of a V.P. and consultant. One of Clarke’s most infamous photos is him smiling with a toothless grin and winking after winning the Stanley Cup.
