| This popular show-opener was inspired by Her Royal Highness Margaret Webb, Founding Queen Mother from Lubbock, Texas. After the Red Hat Romeos were formed to do a number of events around the country to showcase the songs dedicated to the wild and wonderful women in their scarlet chapeaus, Margaret heard the first recorded songs and immediately suggested that the group needed a "signature" song. The Darryl Hicks-penned song came together quickly, passed muster with that vivacious West Texas Queen Mother, and the rest, as they say, is history! This title tune features Mitch Snow, awesomely talented singer and musician who has appeared on stage and worked in studios with such legends as Bob Hope, Marty Robbins, Tracy Byrd, Ronnie Milsap, Gene Watson, Joe Diffie, Billy "Crash" Craddock, Minnie Pearl, Hank Thompson and Merle Haggard, Stand to attention, dear Red Hatters, and get ready for the anthem of the guys who daringly sing "We like to come to your town...gonna party on down!" |
